Jasper will reward you with nice set of boots if you bring a tanned alligator to him but the problem is that Jasper never stays in the same place. Above is a spot where he sometimes hangs out.

The best way to find which alligator will tan is to use a psi spell on all of the alligators, the one alligator that is NOT immune to psi, but with a ton of hits is the one you want.
