**GDH Progression 1** is the first stage of progression through the Green Dragon Hatcheries, granting access beyond the Introduction area.

  * Access to the Green Dragon Hatcheries
  * Ability to kill Hatchlings

===== Walkthrough =====
  - Kill a **Hatchling** to obtain its **scales**.
  - Visit the **Botanist** in the Introduction area.
  - Trade the scales to advance to the next area.

===== Rewards =====
  * Access to the **Escapee area** (GDH area 2)
