**GDH Progression 3** is the third stage of progression through the Green Dragon Hatcheries, involving golems, beholders, and Medusa.

===== Requirements =====
  * Completed [[quests:greed_dragon_hatcheies_progression_2|GDH Progression 2]]
  * Access to the Golem area
  * A party capable of killing **Medusa**

===== Walkthrough =====
  - Kill **golems** until you obtain a **golem essence**.
  - Kill **beholders** to obtain a **beholder staff**.
  - Hold both the essence and staff in hand, then **right-click the staff** to combine them.
  - Gather a party and kill **Medusa** to obtain her **gem**.
  - Once you have the gem, visit **X** in the golem area to trade and advance.

===== Rewards =====
  * Access to the **upper GDH area** (GDH area 4)

===== Notes =====
Medusa is a group encounter — bring a full party. The golem essence + beholder staff combination must be done before fighting Medusa.
