Aleria Neutral Quest Information:

you need to go Loranon and say Lor, sever .
you have to break off any existing allegiance or otherwise all the stuff you do will be wasted if you're attached to another allegiance
Neutral Quest info (notes revised by Bullseye ICQ #16879317)
First, go n/n before you start. (duh) You must be aligned n/n and not be dedicated to other quests. It is simmiliar to the evil and good quest except for the end. The Neutral quest doesnt say anything til your almost done. To complete this quest you will need: The BanditLord's shortsword The Winter Wolf's fur The GoblinKing axe The Seldari Queen's cup And 2 pink leaves of Tamoril With that in mind steps are as follows : Go N/N by killing deer or townies or whatever turns you on.
1. Dedicate to loranon. (NPC above the Warlord Dungeoun) Say:
Lor,peace
Lor,neutrality
Lor,task
Lor,neutrality
2. Kill the BL, get his shortsword. (turn sword into Caspian) Say:
Caspian,kassel
drop bl sword then say
cas,evidence
3. Kill a WW and tan then go see Arogar. (Turn in cloak to blue tag NPC Arogar south of pally trainer) Say:
Aro,hello
Aro,fur (* watch your alignment after this step can go n/e or past) Pick up the coins that Arogar drops at that point.
3. After that go see Duke Talinar. Go to Duke talinar, Say:
tal,fur
tal,solution
tal,coins
You can save or say this next step at your discretion.
tal,redemption (*this atone step is not 100% neccessary to the quest)
4. Kill the Gobling King, get his axe and bring it to King Borav. (Turn in ring to Lady Ela afterwards) Say:
Kin,hello
drop GK axe at his feet Say:
Kin,axe
Kin,alliance
Now take the ring off the ground.
5. Go to Lady Ela. Drop the ring and say:
Lad,hello (she will briefly discuss the alliance,Seldari and the uses of the ring in the dark forrest)
6. Kill Seldar Queen Cyressa, get her cup and take it to Lady Ela. (Turn in goblet to Lady Ela) Say:
Lad,goblet (while holding goblet in hand)
She will then sprinkle fairie dust over the goblet and you will watch the skull crumble from the evil goblet she will say “It is done our arch enemy has fallen” and the evil cup will turn to the good gold goblet that allows access to the Hemlock locker east of the stump (Loranon will now talk to you.)
7.Go see Loranon. Click on him once. Loranon will now say “Blessed be that you have returned to me, for i have a task for you.” when you click on him Then say:
Lor,task
Loranon will then instruct you to give the fabled leaf of Tamorwil to both opposing heralds and ask them for peace.
8. Finish the quest, simply by giving a leaf to both the emissaries of good and evil. (good) Eldoral, the camo wearing blue tag NPC east of the lockers (evil) Culcula, on the island (not Koron) Go to Eldoral.Say:
Eld,hello
drop leaf
Eld,leaf
Eldoral will agree to a armstice if Lord Koss will as well. after this go to Culcula. Say:
Cul,hello
drop leaf
Cul,leaf
Culcula will agree to sign the armstice since the crusaders laid down their arms. Now, go back to Loranon and you are done. Click on Loranon Say:
Lor,armistice
He will call you a master diplomat and ask what reward you seek either fame or fortune.
1. Fame (Charisma pot) can use only 1 Charisma pot per slot EVER !
2. Fortune (Loranon's Staff) After you have completed it, you have 2 choices. The staff is like +1 wis and +1 ep and has 5 combat adds, thats it. The staff also trades for the neutral helm, (the cap of balance or Tamorwil's cap of peace) It has combat stun protection and is poison protection (abs) like the poison prot amulet, Its also +2 agility when worn!
The Helm trader (Rashil) is the same for any of the 3 quest's an is south of town in aleria. Note: If you need to sever the n/n quest to do any of the other aligned Aleria quests first go to Loranon and then to Culcula. Say to Loranon:
Lor,sever
Lor,renounce
Then go to Culcula. Say:
Cul,hello
Cul,allegiance
He will then ask you to cease Loranon's foolish quest Say:
Cul,cease
This will undo the quest, to repeat it, or to do a different aligned quest. Some background on the atone process below:
———————————————————————- Duke Talinar & the winter wolf fur (and the atone) was a step from the good quest. Arogar and the winter wolf fur was a step from the evil quest. I thought it was fitting to do both for the N/N quest but only 1 step may be truly needed to do the quest. By doing both you do however,you learn how you can obtain an Atone from Duke Talinar using a winter wolf fur.
