Aleria is a diverse scenario featuring forests, deserts, caves, and multiple settlements. It is accessible from Nork via Urmak's boat in the Nork -3.5 dungeons.

Welcome to Carrena! A fine place to rest up after the long voyage from RatBurrow. Normally a quiet place until the Invasion forces lay siege to this walled city.
NPCs and Services:
Sewers -1. Climb down from the grate in room across the street from the stores.
Poisonous Grubs and Rats swarm the place. Good Alerian newbie area with decent treasure for first timers.
Sewers -2. Only thieves can use the secret passages. Leads to Thieves Guild.
A bank, trap seller and the way back to Carrena are on this level.
The Wells of Carrena.
Climb down into the well and scoop up some pearls. Occasionally, some black pearls are found. It's the only place to find black pearls in Aleria.

Kassel, a once thriving hamlet in the Alerian Ice Floes, was devastated by a merciless raid by the BanditLord. A little boy is the only survivor of the slaughter.
Climb up the ladder to get to Hemlock.

Lady Ela asks you to get Queen Cyressa's Goblet. She gives her own Goblet in return, which allows access through the great stump to the Locker and Sellers. Stepping on the misty white hex north of the South Seller teleports you to south of Carrena near the SouthEast Caves. Warning: don't lock your Cup in the Hemlock Locker.
King Borav's Hold / Dwarf Village (754×651).
King Borav of the Dwarves welcomes you into his Hold with open arms and a hearty handshake. The Dwarves make Light Rings for anyone who delivers the Goblin King Axe to the King. Commands: Kin,axe / Kin,alliance. The Seller in the Hold will sell you a pickaxe among other things to help you mine and dig up graves.
Thumpersville (973×1200).
A favorite dungeon. Good coin, skill, and XP here. The Great Wyrm (aka Barney) will stun, poison and strip you if you aren't careful. Farm the top section and you can make a Meg XP/coin per hour. Only one stair and almost to the top left corner is twiggable. Barney sometimes drops Gold bars. Blow walls to concentrate crits with blast hammer.
Naber's Farm.
Due west of the gates of Carrena lies a little farm. Naber will give you some corn to sell if you are broke. Tell him Naber, work. This works once per 40 hours. Make sure you have no coins on you when you ask him. Corn sells for up to 35K.
The Desert Path (546×220).
Starting over to the East by the Warlord, follow the maze of caves that will eventually lead to the Swamp and onto the Desert to Mujaba.

Bandit Lord Lair (745×587).
Gratchit gives the password to enter the BanditLord's lair: say Gra,promise then Gra,password. You must get a new password if you exit the lair. Gratchit is at the end of a very long hallway in caves NW of Carrena's North gate.
Kill the BanditLord and get his sword. Darkness can be cast in here. Most NPCs have bow weapons. Tiny will help you if you stand on his hex. BanditLord sword is needed for the Evil and Neutral Quests.

Banshee Lair interior (406×449).
Come visit the Banshee but beware of her Blast attack. She can hit for over 400 damage and tans for a Ghost Cloak. 93K+ XP and over 6K in treasure if you can kill her.
The entrance to the Banshee Lair lies on a steep slope of a dormant volcano. You just can't reach the handholds but when you put on your Hippogriff boots, it gives you the needed boost to climb up. Jump into the cone of the volcano to go down to the Banshee Lair.
Bowler's Cave.
Bowlers and Ogres give 12K+ XP and a lot of crits can be in here at once. They regen at a decent rate and a player can sit in here and gather goodies while regen happens. Good XP factory around 13th level.

East from Carrena and through the canyon passage lies a little building in disrepair. The passage leads to a back way into the Goblin King's Lair. Rumor has it that the mystery area was a lair that was taken out of the game.
Ghoul Lord Lair (949×1553) – click for full resolution.
West of Carrena is a stair that leads to the dungeon of the Ghoul Lord. Door/blow up the wall that leads to the lair. This place is good for those who want more of a challenge than the Sewers of Carrena. Use the twig spot east of the lair for return trips.
Goblin King Lair.
Big zoo surrounds the Goblin King with The Fool messing around with you. The Goblin King has a +4 axe with Transmute Level 13. Trade the Axe for a Light Ring at King Borav's Hold. The Witch Doctor casts darkness and has a staff. Exit the lair by swimming down the river. To get to the Lair, go through the dwarf village by going through 2 walls west of the Treehouse ladder.

Monkey Island (720×587).
Karzov on Monkey Island trades Mujaba's Punch Dagger for a float bottle, part of the Tarak quest chain.
Mujaba's Lair (382×470).
Mujaba has a Punch Dagger. Kill Mujaba and take his dagger to Monkey Island to trade with Karzov for a float bottle to reach Tarak's floating castle.
Phantom Lair (635×661). Drop in and kill the Phantom today!
Kill the Phantom and tan for a cloak. Trade the cloak or a N -3.5 Ghost cloak for a book from Marco in the middle of Carrena. Entrance is from Carrena by digging.
Seldari Forest (1280×938).
The forest is heavily guarded by the Seldari. Invisible barriers and trees make it hard to move sometimes. Wear the Light Ring to get through the waterfall NW of the 3-Bird Seller. Wear SER to fend off energy missiles. Read the statues to get the mystic words. Travel east to Elshea and speak to her the words upon the stone: Els, sol kalier kalehn. Receive the Poison amulet and wear it to enter the Seldari dungeons. Step on the goldfish pond to enter.

Seldari Queen Lair.
Queen Cyressa is waiting for you to enter her lair. She will have the Evil Goblet if you can kill her. Trade the Evil Goblet for the Good Goblet to enter the TreeHouse.

A good place to find all sorts of 4/4, 0/5 rings, camo cloaks, and dread long swords. Eyes also drop here.

Kill Slimey and take his hammer back to Tarak as part of the Tarak quest chain.

The Warlord waits for you at the top of his little tower with a pack of wolves at his side. The Warlord has been known to have an Alerian Defense Axe and he can be killed for 21K XP. The -1 level below is also known as the Clicker Dungeon – Clickers can sometimes drop Enmiss Bracers.
The Watcher Cave (401×389).
In the Swamp of Aleria, there in a small cave dwells the Watcher. Click the Heads and the Watcher replies: “I have been watching you.”
