The City-State of Frore lies to the south of Nork. It is home to the King Minotaur dungeons, the Frore Guard Tower, Frore Water Plains, and numerous lairs and specialty dungeons including the Fate Pools, Dark Tower, Fun House, Prisons, and more.
King Minotaur -1.
First level of the King Minotaur dungeon system, accessed from Frore. Battle the Triple Minotaurs at the south end. Hold a large green emerald to continue north to KM-2.
Creatures: Triple Minotaurs (south end), Harpies (will stun)
Drops: Minotaur Axes (trade for +4 Halberds in the Prisons, or break for 10K XP)
King Minotaur -2.
Second level of the KM dungeons. Home to Peewee, who trades a Door Pearl and 2 Silver Bows for a Muzi.
NPC: Peewee (trade Door Pearl + 2 Silver Bows for Muzi)
King Minotaur -4.
Fourth level featuring a deadly pit jump. Good skill area but very dangerous. Jump into the pit and you die – you get stripped and Rats spawn. Stunners stun, so bring ProtStun.
Warning: “Jump into the pit. Woohoo! You die… You get stripped and Rats do pop.”
KM-5 / Slith area (1067×1500).

Fate Pools -2 – the actual fating pools.
Located southeast of the East Gates of Frore. Drinking from the Fate Pools will randomly alter your character's stats, abilities, race, gender, or alignment. Effects are permanent and completely random.
How to reach the Fate Pools:
Creatures: Mama Red Dragon (2 levels down from -1), Baby Red Dragon
Fate Card Seller: Must be 15th level or higher. Need a key found in the Fate Pool area. Cards cost 50K gold each and do not tie. A huge Mentalist guards the room before the Seller (casts ESpear and ShockWave for ~400 damage). The Seller's room is twiggable.
Warning: “Just Say NO To Fating.” Effects are completely random and can permanently damage your character. See Dion for a full list of possible fating outcomes.
Dark Tower – upper floor.
Dark Tower – surface level.
Dark Tower -1.
Dark Tower -2.
Multi-level tower structure. Drop into the Dark Tower for 5/5 rings and Vamp Gauntlets.
Upper Floor: Home to Monks and Stalkers (drop 5/5 rings). Felon is here – trade him a Vampire Heart for Vamp Gauntlets. Jump off east or west to reach the surface; fall back in north or south to return.
Surface Level: Main entry point. Drop in from the middle of the west side to reach the Guardian Lair (NOT RECOMMENDED – “Going to Guardian Lair is suicide”).
Dark Tower -1: First basement level. Up or twig is the only way out.
Dark Tower -2: Second basement. Contains a building with a fire mechanic – step on the fire to continue up the tower. Blow up or Door the wall to enter the Multilair (at own risk). Connects to Guardian Lair and Multilair.
Fun House entrance (NE corner of Nork Town, in the Inn, upstairs).

A multi-level puzzle dungeon in the NE corner of Nork Town (upstairs in the Inn). NO TWIG CAN BE SET IN THE FUN HOUSE.

Leviathan Lair.
Malcom's location (east of Frore).
Southwest of Frore, through a canyon river, lies a great lake with the Leviathan. IH the lair so the Leviathan can't heal. Kill it for an egg that ties to you, then travel east of Frore to find Malcom. Give the egg to Malcom for FullPlate armor (Barbarians will feel encumbered).
Creatures: Leviathan (can strip players)
Drops: Leviathan Egg (ties, trades to Malcom for FullPlate)

Multi-level prison complex connected to the Nork/Frore area.
Upper Floor: Good place to look for rings of all kinds. Find the Figurine here to gain access to the Naga Lair.
Ground Floor: Watch out for Stunners and Lurkers (cast Darkness).
Prisons -1: Blow up or Door the south wall in the middle to reach the Black Dragon.
Prisons -2: Main prison area. Halberd Trader in the top middle room trades Minotaur Axes for +4 Halberds. NW stairs lead to Naga Lair and Minomaze.
Wine Cellar entrance.
Wine Cellar.
Two-level dungeon. Open door or Door in, then jump down one of the holes to reach the Wine Cellar below.
Halberd Giant approach (stairs southwest of Frore).
Halberd Giant lair.
Southwest of Frore, down the stairs. Kill the Halberd Giant for a +5 Halberd, then raid the lair for additional goodies. Be warned: the Giant hits for over 300 damage.
Denaba Caves approach.
Cave system north of Frore. Contains legendary creatures. Limited documentation available in the archives.
Chipuda area.
North of Frore in a secret cave with stairs. Chipuda casts Shockwave, Acidbreath, Darkness, and Espear. Drops the Chipper staff.
Evil Nork.
A tougher version of Nork. Things are a little tougher here – watch out for the Cloud Giant. Travel south to the Acid Caves. Climb down the stairs in northwest Evil Nork to face the Guardian. Enter the Portals area and go down to the FirePlains to visit Spot and the Fire Giant.
