Wiki Style Guide

This guide covers conventions for creating and editing pages on the Kingdom of Drakkar Wiki.

• Use lowercase with underscores: goblin_king, nork_5, fire_sword
• Place pages in the correct namespace: monsters:, items:, locations:, quests:, classes:, races:, guides:, mechanics:
• Use the in-game name where possible

Every content page should follow this order:

1. Title — ====== Page Name ======
2. Metadata line — //Category: Monster | Region: Aleria | Difficulty: Intermediate//
3. Quick Facts infobox (optional) — wrap plugin right box with key stats
4. Intro paragraph — one-sentence summary in bold: “Page Name is a …”
5. Content sections — Description, Location, Combat, Drops, etc.
6. See Also — links to related pages (always last section)

The first line after the title should be an italicized metadata line:

//Category: Monster | Region: Nork | Difficulty: Intermediate//

Valid categories: Monster, Item, Location, Quest, Class, Race, Guide, Mechanic

Valid regions: Aleria, Nork, Cobrahn, Maeling, Cob Dungeon, Nameless, Underworld, General

Valid difficulties: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert

Use the wrap plugin for a right-floated Quick Facts box:

Every page should end with a See Also section containing 2-5 related links:

• Display Name – brief reason for the link
• Display Name – brief reason for the link

Use DokuWiki table syntax for structured data:

• Internal links: [[namespace:page|Display Name]]
• External links: [[https://example.com|Display Name]]
• Broken links appear in red — fix them when you spot them

If content comes from an external source, add a blockquote at the bottom of the relevant section:

• Upload to the matching namespace in the media manager
• Use reasonable sizes: {{:namespace:image.png?200|}} for inline images
• For monster/item images, 80-120px width is typical

Start new pages from these templates:

• Race Template

Copy the template content into your new page and fill in the brackets.
