Rerolling Guide — Mihey
Category: Guide
Guide to character rerolling in the Kingdom of Drakkar. Written by Mihey of PHNX Guild.
What is Rerolling?
Rerolling is re-creating a character in the same slot (overwriting the existing crit). Select the slot, click “Create”, and confirm the warnings.
What Rerolling Does
- You lose ALL items and gold equipped, in sack, pouch, belt, and hands. Bank and locker items are safe.
- You revert to experience level 1. Your experience is halved from what was required for your previous level. (Level 14 → get enough exp to rest to 13 immediately)
- All skills reduced to starting levels, but you still have paid training up to (skill - 1). (Skill 10 → paid up to 9)
- Alignment is restored to good/good
WARNING: Double Rerolling
Rerolling again immediately after a reroll will erase all progress. Why:
- After rerolling from level 14, you have 13.1M exp at level 1. If you reroll again immediately, only the exp required for level 1 (1,600) is halved — you keep only 800 exp out of 13.1M.
- Same for skills — second reroll removes all paid training.
Always level up and skill as high as possible before rerolling again.
Reasons to Reroll
- Change race for better stats (especially charisma and luck — hardest to fix)
- Change class (class is erased too, must re-dedicate)
- Recover from eating — if you've lost significant overmax HP from eaters, reroll and re-max
- Max EP at level 1 — for ments/healers, maxxing EP at level 1 then resting to 13 gives ~350 EP vs maxxing at 13
Rerolling Strategy
When rolling stats, spend a lot of time getting good rolls:
- Aim for 17-18 in Charisma and Luck (hardest to fix with pots)
- High Willpower (rare pots)
- Class-appropriate stats: STR for fighters, INT for ments, WIS for healers
- Agility is common (settle for lower)
- STR pots are rare — at least 16 for fighting classes
- CON majors are fairly common — don't worry too much
Before rerolling:
- Stockpile stat pots and yellow pots
- Have spare majors for leveling
- Get int/wis rings for ment/healer before dedicating
- For fighting classes, rush to level 13 ASAP
- Ensure 18 CON for leveling (saves maxxing money)
Re-Skilling After Reroll
With paid training up to (old skill - 1), skilling is very fast:
- Ghosts up to skill 6-7
- Ogre Chiefs up to skill 11-12
- A few hours should get you back to your old skill level
- For skill 11+: minos, ghoul lord, or twins
- Ments: firebreath on big zoos
- Don't do eater lairs when small — crits tend to forget they aren't as big as before
