The Basilisk Shield is obtained by getting enchanted to enter the Basilisk lair south of Volcano Town, killing the Basilisk, and trading the tanned scales to Bavic.

• Access to Volcano Town
• A party capable of killing the Basilisk
• A freshly slain creature corpse (Kuron tells you which one)

1. Go to Volcano Town and head downstairs to the northwest corner.
2. Find the NPC Kuron and say “Kur, secret”.
3. Kuron asks for a freshly slain corpse of a specific creature. Go kill that creature and bring the corpse back.
4. Say “Kur, secret” again. You are now enchanted to enter the Basilisk lair.
5. Jump or climb down the south area of Volcano Town and head east to the lair entrance.
6. Kill the Basilisk with your party.
7. Take the corpse to the Volcano Town tanner and tan it to receive Basilisk Scales.
8. Bring the scales to Bavic in the Volcano Town basement. He gives you the Basilisk Shield.
